What's a Kickstart?

Simply the most fun you've ever had learning a foreign language!

It's an intensive, interactive program that will teach you the basics for survival in a new language.  Typically, a Kickstart consists of two ten-hour days, scheduled back-to-back, with two dynamic, creative trainers.  Sounds like a lot of time all at once--and it is, but the effectiveness is what makes it all worthwhile.  Clients say:

"Very, very good course."

"This was one of the best classes I ever took!"

"Extremely effective instructor."

"Continue to offer the course."

"I loved the class!"

"The two instructors were excellent.  They made the learning very enjoyable and inspired me to want to continue."

"The class was worthwhile and very rewarding."

What more can we say?  Our clients love this class because it takes them much farther than they had ever hoped to go in just two days.

What You Can Learn in a Kickstart

Typically, in twenty hours of instruction in a Western language, you can learn the following:

bullettelling time to the minute
bulletcounting money
bulletthe names of all the things that business travelers lose or have stolen--wallet, passport, money, airline ticket, traveler's checks, and so on
bulletthe names of basic foods and how to order them in a restaurant (and, if you're allergic to something, how to avoid it)
bulletgreetings and brief introductions
bulletthe "politeness phrases"--please, thank you, I'm sorry, you're welcome
bulletand a few other things for good measure, such as your company's product names

If the standard schedule of 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. won't work for your company, let's explore!  We have presented the Kickstart in a wide variety of formats, and we'd be happy to design a schedule that will work for you.
